Electric hand-irons.-The iron comprises a soleplate A, a resistance wire wound between a pair of mica sheets, a covering asbestos pad F, a clamping-plate I, a polished body K, and a handle 0, the whole being clamped together by nuts on screwed studs B. The terminals L are provided with spring tongues M which make contact with strips G in connexion with the resistance wire.
